The 7th annual Mel/EJ cup golf tournament is now history, and thanks to your generous sponsorship another resounding success. We once again had a full field of more than 200 golfers taking part in what has become the leading team golf event in the province.
The Mel Murray Cup for tournament champion this year was captured by the father son team of Herrick and Steve Hansen, who played brilliantly over the two days. The Eric Jamieson Cup went to the low net team of Brent and Jordan Hallet, another father and son duo.
Thanks to your support a large number of prizes were handed out to the field, one of the real selling points of this tournament.
On behalf of the organizing committee, the players, volunteers and staff who help make this the great event it has become thank you again for your support for the Mel/EJ golf tournament. The organizing committee is already looking forward to 2017 to see if we can make this an even better event for all those who participate. Please don’t hesitate to let us know what we can do to make this event event better.
