On behalf of the Host Committee of the 2017 Canadian Police Curling Association National Championships that were held at the Capital Winter Club, April 14-April 23, 2017, I offer sincere thanks and appreciation for your outstanding support of this event.
The Fredericton Inn team led by you was without doubt a major force to which the success of the bonspiel can be attributed. From our initial contact with you regarding accommodations, hospitality suite, and banquet facilities, it was very obvious to us that you and your team would leave no stone unturned to deliver outstanding client service throughout the bonspiel. In fact, the entire week was filled with examples of how your knowledgeable, professional, well-trained staff met our every need with stellar performance, warmth, congeniality, and the signature request: “Is there anything else I can do for you?”
Everyone associated with the event: organizers, curlers, and guests are in total agreement that their Fredericton Inn experience exceeded every expectation. Clearly, going the “extra mile” for your clients is a primary value of the Fredericton Inn, for it was very evident by your generous “in kind” contributions to all the functions hosted at your hotel and by all the very positive interactions between your staff and participants in the bonspiel.
Please accept our most sincere thanks for your landmark contributions and convey our gratitude to members of your team for their superior work that resulted in our very successful CPCA National Championships.
Sincerely yours,
Lorne T. House

On behalf of the New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs I want to extend our sincere thanks to you and your staff for a wonderful weekend during our conference.
The staff were amazing. Michelle and Andre were so helpful during our setup and continuing with numerous requests throughout the weekend. Being the first time for me to plan a conference; Andre and Michelle were my rock when I needed assistance. I am certain when the weekend was over they drew a sigh of relief; not blaming them one bit, I know I did.
My thanks to Darrell as well for being patient with me when it came to the rooming list; never is the first list the official one, there is always changes.
Your staff from kitchen to front desk, to room attendants and staff of the restaurants were amazing and always met you with a smile, it felt like a huge “Welcome Home” atmosphere with everyone around you. My sincere thanks to everyone.
I am looking forward to next year to join you and your staff once again.
Have a wonderful summer.
Thank you

My name is Shirley Carroll and I am a member of the Organizing Committee for the Canadian Police Curling Championship games that are being held in Fredericton starting tomorrow.
As the host hotel, you and your team have been very accommodating of our many and varied requests for service “outside the box.” Throughout the planning and organizing for this event, your constant, generous support has been communicated to us by Lorne House, and we are all very appreciative (and at times incredulous) of your kindness.
Tonight, we had an opportunity to experience yet another example of outstanding service delivered in a heartwarming manner by two of your employees. Allow me to recount the situation:
The Committee had been given permission to bring snack food, hors d’oeuvre, etc., to our “Hospitality Room” on the lower floor. I prepared at home a dip for use with crackers, nachos, etc., that needed to be heated before serving. My plan to heat it before taking it to the hotel did not work out, so I explained my predicament to Christine at the Registration Desk and asked if the dish could be heated in your kitchen. She took charge of my request immediately by calling the kitchen and relating my situation to your chef, who agreed to heat the food. Then, she went the extra mile by immediately engaging a porter named Jack to transport the plate to the kitchen and after it was heated to deliver it to our room downstairs.
Both Jack and Christine were very attentive, warm, engaging, polite, and genuinely friendly and solicitous in all their communications with me. Jack appeared with the food as promised, helped me set it in place, then smilingly asked if he could be of further service. Both employees were extremely professional in their dress, demeanor, and deportment.
Mr. Waite, I am a retired senior administrator of post-secondary education, and for many years I taught courses on how to provide “knock-your-socks-off” client service. I cannot tell you how delighted I was tonight to be treated to this level of service by two young professionals who not only delivered the highest standards of service but ‘knocked it out of the park” by their personal interaction with me that made me feel my needs were their top priority. If I were still in the classroom, this story and the behaviors of Christine and Jack would most certainly be added to my repertoire of case studies used to inspire and instruct others.
Please tell them that I have shared my story with you to acknowledge their exemplary service and to encourage them in their professional development.
Sincerely,
Shirley Carroll, B.Ed., M.Ed.,
Associate Vice President Academic (retired)
Dear John,
On behalf of the board and staff of Meals on Wheels of Fredericton Inc., I am writing to say thank you, and to express our appreciation to you for your tremendous support and generosity in providing the meal for our Wheels to Meals Christmas luncheon.
As a non-profit organization it can be very challenging to find the resources needed to effectively fulfill our mandate; especially in these economically challenging times. We are grateful to people like you whose community mindedness and demonstrated support help enable us to continue providing our service to those who need them.
Thank you for caring.
