NB Association of Food Banks /
Just wanted to thank you for the excellent service we received today for our AGM.  Everyone was helpful, and we had someone there when needed.  The table set up was perfect, the right number to match our needs.  The food was also perfect with two ladies helping to keep the table tidy and move out the dishes.
Thank you for your support of our food banks in NB.  Today we were able to accomplish a new direction for our governance structure and move into a new way of partnering and serving those in need.
Please give our grateful thanks to all those involved in assisting us today and give our appreciation for going above and beyond for our comfort and protection of COVID.
Kindest regards
Elizabeth
Canadian Police Curling Association National Championships /

On behalf of the Host Committee of the 2017 Canadian Police Curling Association National Championships that were held at the Capital Winter Club, April 14-April 23, 2017, I offer sincere thanks and appreciation for your outstanding support of this event.

The Fredericton Inn team led by you was without doubt a major force to which the success of the bonspiel can be attributed. From our initial contact with you regarding accommodations, hospitality suite, and banquet facilities, it was very obvious to us that you and your team would leave no stone unturned to deliver outstanding client service throughout the bonspiel. In fact, the entire week was filled with examples of how your knowledgeable, professional, well-trained staff met our every need with stellar performance, warmth, congeniality, and the signature request: “Is there anything else I can do for you?”

Everyone associated with the event: organizers, curlers, and guests are in total agreement that their Fredericton Inn experience exceeded every expectation. Clearly, going the “extra mile” for your clients is a primary value of the Fredericton Inn, for it was very evident by your generous “in kind” contributions to all the functions hosted at your hotel and by all the very positive interactions between your staff and participants in the bonspiel.

Please accept our most sincere thanks for your landmark contributions and convey our gratitude to members of your team for their superior work that resulted in our very successful CPCA National Championships.

Sincerely yours,

Lorne T. House
President,
New Brunswick Police Curling Association

New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs /

On behalf of the New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs I want to extend our sincere thanks to you and your staff for a wonderful weekend during our conference.

The staff were amazing. Michelle and Andre were so helpful during our setup and continuing with numerous requests throughout the weekend. Being the first time for me to plan a conference; Andre and Michelle were my rock when I needed assistance. I am certain when the weekend was over they drew a sigh of relief; not blaming them one bit, I know I did.

My thanks to Darrell as well for being patient with me when it came to the rooming list; never is the first list the official one, there is always changes.

Your staff from kitchen to front desk, to room attendants and staff of the restaurants were amazing and always met you with a smile, it felt like a huge “Welcome Home” atmosphere with everyone around you. My sincere thanks to everyone.

I am looking forward to next year to join you and your staff once again.

Have a wonderful summer.
Thank you

Canadian Police Curling Championships /

My name is Shirley Carroll and I am a member of the Organizing Committee for the Canadian Police Curling Championship games that are being held in Fredericton starting tomorrow.

As the host hotel, you and your team have been very accommodating of our many and varied requests for service “outside the box.” Throughout the planning and organizing for this event, your constant, generous support has been communicated to us by Lorne House, and we are all very appreciative (and at times incredulous) of your kindness.

Tonight, we had an opportunity to experience yet another example of outstanding service delivered in a heartwarming manner by two of your employees. Allow me to recount the situation:

The Committee had been given permission to bring snack food, hors d’oeuvre, etc., to our “Hospitality Room” on the lower floor. I prepared at home a dip for use with crackers, nachos, etc., that needed to be heated before serving. My plan to heat it before taking it to the hotel did not work out, so I explained my predicament to Christine at the Registration Desk and asked if the dish could be heated in your kitchen. She took charge of my request immediately by calling the kitchen and relating my situation to your chef, who agreed to heat the food. Then, she went the extra mile by immediately engaging a porter named Jack to transport the plate to the kitchen and after it was heated to deliver it to our room downstairs.

Both Jack and Christine were very attentive, warm, engaging, polite, and genuinely friendly and solicitous in all their communications with me. Jack appeared with the food as promised, helped me set it in place, then smilingly asked if he could be of further service. Both employees were extremely professional in their dress, demeanor, and deportment.

Mr. Waite, I am a retired senior administrator of post-secondary education, and for many years I taught courses on how to provide “knock-your-socks-off” client service. I cannot tell you how delighted I was tonight to be treated to this level of service by two young professionals who not only delivered the highest standards of service but ‘knocked it out of the park” by their personal interaction with me that made me feel my needs were their top priority. If I were still in the classroom, this story and the behaviors of Christine and Jack would most certainly be added to my repertoire of case studies used to inspire and instruct others.

Please tell them that I have shared my story with you to acknowledge their exemplary service and to encourage them in their professional development.

Sincerely,
Shirley Carroll, B.Ed., M.Ed.,
Associate Vice President Academic (retired)

British North America Philatelic Society /

The British North America Philatelic Society held its three day annual convention at the Fredericton Inn Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. It was by far one of the best venues we have been to in years. Your place is so clean and the service was absolutely excellent. The dining was also excellent. The ballroom was spacious and the events rooms were well supplied with water. If one were to complain it would be to say that you keep the inn a little cool. Our banquet dinner, choice of Roast beef or Atlantic Salmon, fantastic. No other word. The week-end was memorable

FHS Class of 64 /

John I would like to tell you what an absolute pleasure it was working with you and your staff and what a great night we had Saturday evening. The meal was perfect and all was just excellent. All who attended expressed how great the weekend was with the high lite being Saturday Night!!

Fredericton Golf Club Inc. /

Dear John,

The 7th annual Mel/EJ cup golf tournament is now history, and thanks to your generous sponsorship another resounding success. We once again had a full field of more than 200 golfers taking part in what has become the leading team golf event in the province.

The Mel Murray Cup for tournament champion this year was captured by the father son team of Herrick and Steve Hansen, who played brilliantly over the two days. The Eric Jamieson Cup went to the low net team of Brent and Jordan Hallet, another father and son duo.

Thanks to your support a large number of prizes were handed out to the field, one of the real selling points of this tournament.

On behalf of the organizing committee, the players, volunteers and staff who help make this the great event it has become thank you again for your support for the Mel/EJ golf tournament. The organizing committee is already looking forward to 2017 to see if we can make this an even better event for all those who participate. Please don’t hesitate to let us know what we can do to make this event event better. Your sponsorship has been key to our success so far, and we hope to be able to count on your support again next year.

Sincerely,

Fred Rowan

“With considerable help from you and your staff, I believe we were successful in hosting the 2015 edition of the Can-At Bridge tournament.
I am certain that it is not startling to you, but it deserves mention that each of the members of your staff with whom we dealt, without fail, responded admirably. I received compliments from our organizing committee, but also from any number of visiting participants in the tournament. You can be justifiably proud of your reputation as a first-class host.

“On November 30, 2013 the Fredericton Society of Saint Andrew gathered at the Fredericton Inn. The Bicentennial Room was a perfect location to have the celebration and appropriate for the formality of the program. The meeting at which the arrangements for the Feast were made was professional and productive. The catering management on site at the Feast was accommodating to our needs. They adapted professionally and positively to any changes they were asked to make. The members of the serving staff were attentive, organized, and pleasant throughout the evening. Again, the professional reception and service received from you and your staff was a positive experience. Looking forward to celebrating the Feast of Saint Andrew 2014 at the Fredericton Inn. “
